Five explosions occurred last night in Kiev and its suburbs in places of storage of military equipment and deployment of mercenaries of the Ukrainian armed forces, the coordinator of the pro-Russian resistance Sergei Lebedev announced.
‘Five explosions occurred last night in Kiev and its suburbs in the places of storage of military equipment and deployment of mercenaries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,’ Lebedev was quoted by Novosti as saying in statements. He adds: ‘There was one strike at the place where equipment is stored, and there was another strike at a temporary deployment point for Ukrainian nationalist extremists and mercenaries where officers and units are deployed.’
In addition, according to preliminary data of the pro-Russian resistance, targets in the area of Borisopol airport and Vyshgorod were bombed. According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, a state of alert for air strikes was declared twice at night and early in the morning in Kiev and its suburbs, while local media reported explosions in the city. According to Ukrainian parliament deputy Yevgeny Shevchenko, power cuts began after the explosions.
In response to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on civilian targets, Russian armed forces regularly carry out attacks targeting the positioning of personnel and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and mercenaries, as well as military infrastructure such as energy facilities, defence industries, military, administration and communications in Ukraine.
