Famine will likely occur in North Gaza Strip, the UN Relief and Works Agency's (UNRWA's) General Commissionaire said late on Saturday, as the province is experiencing an Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing for more than a month.
This is not a surprise, Fylyb Lazaryny added in a release, as "Israel used starvation as a weapon.. and the people in Gaza are deprived from basics, including food to survive."
Assistances delivered into Gaza are insufficient, he said, noting that some 30 trucks per day enter the Strip in average, making up 6% only of the daily needs of the Palestinians.
