Bloomberg revealed that the European Union will propose adding about 50 individuals and 30 entities to the fifteenth new package of sanctions against Russia.
The new sanctions package will also include a ban on more than 45 oil tankers from Russia from accessing European ports and services.
According to documents available to the agency, it is mainly planned to impose new restrictions against Russian military companies, as well as some Chinese companies that allegedly supply Russian companies with spare parts for the production of drones.
The new sanctions will include Russian companies involved in oil transportation, as well as a number of military personnel and heads of companies.
In addition, the EU is proposing sanctions against some 30 organizations that allegedly help Moscow acquire military technology, including companies from Russia, Serbia, Iran, India, Thailand and the UAE.
The EU is also proposing sanctions against North Korean military officials allegedly involved in sending military personnel to Russia.
EU permanent representatives are scheduled to discuss the new sanctions against Russia on Nov. 27.
