Lebanese international expert, Wissam Ismail, emphasised that the US support for the Zionist entity will not change or be affected by the change of the US presidency or Trump's coming to power again.
Ismail said in a statement to the Iraqi ‘Al-Malouma’ agency on Monday: ‘US President Joe Biden has a close relationship with Netanyahu and worked to secure arms shipments and military supplies to the Zionist entity, where the value of arms shipments reached $22 billion.’
He added: ‘Trump's coming to power will not change the US policy other than the approach in which it operates, especially since Trump has emphasised the importance of letting Netanyahu do what he wants at a time when America provides various types of support to ensure the survival of Israel.’
He explained that ‘the American decision on supporting the Zionist entity is not linked to the person of the president but to the deep state in the United States, and therefore the American support for “Israel” will remain in place despite the change of administration.’
