This evening, Thursday, Hezbollah announced that it had successfully downed an Israeli "Hermes 450" drone over the eastern sector using a surface-to-air missile, while also targeting Israeli soldiers in two settlements with rocket barrages.
According to three statements from Hezbollah, fighters from the Islamic Resistance targeted a gathering of Israeli forces at the Al-Omra Gate on the southern edge of the town of Al-Khiam for the second time today, firing a salvo of rockets at 6:00 p.m.
At the same time, Hezbollah fighters also struck the Kfar Yuval settlement with a second rocket barrage at 6:00 p.m.
Additionally, at 4:30 p.m., the Islamic Resistance air defense unit successfully shot down an Israeli "Hermes 450" drone over the eastern sector with a surface-to-air missile.
Hezbollah affirmed that these actions are in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza, in solidarity with its courageous and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people.
