SANA'A June 13. 2023 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal and President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday attended the closing ceremony of the activities of the competition for memorizing and reciting the Noble Qur’an held in the capital Sana'a.
Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor said "We congratulate the generations who will represent the revolution and the name of society with new, renewed youth energies that believe in the approach of the Holy Qur'an, which is not superior to thought, culture, or philosophy, because it is the divine approach that has been and will remain a spiritual platform for this nation despite the continuous attempts it is exposed to to destroy its sublime values and essence."
Bin Habtoor stressed the importance of the motto always is to be the Holy Quran and the approach is to be the Holy Quran as the compass that guides the nation as a Muslim nation.
The Prime Minister referred to the ability of the People of Yemen is to exceed the period of three thousand days of steadfastness in the face of aggression and siege, pointing out that the enemies believed that their aggression would not take more than two weeks to two months in most measure unless they achieved their goals of victory over our people, pointing out that Today, the people celebrate from the heart of Sana'a, the great capital of Yemen, the passage of three thousand days of steadfastness in the face of the aggression and siege.
He went on saying "This day that we celebrate came with the grace of Allah first, and then as a result of the steadfastness of the great Yemeni people and their massive support for the fronts, as well as the wise directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who was injecting thought, knowledge and guidance to raise morale on various fronts, regions and gatherings, and we also do not forget the role of His Excellency President al-Mashat, and before him the martyr President Saleh al-Sammad, who presented during the years of aggression the model of the political leader present in the field and who directly contributed to strengthening the steadfastness of the people and not giving them up or entering into weakness in their psyche, and also through the support of the Presidency for the families of the great martyrs and Mujahideen Heroes on the fronts.
Bin Habtoor added "The passage of three thousand days is a great occasion, because it indicates the great steadfastness of this people, who believed in the idea and the justice of their cause, and that they are rightful owners, and also in their rejection of external dictates on them and their homeland, and as the only people who said no to the arrogant, and stood firm against the armed arrogant from the first moment." for aggression.”
Charitable Society for Teaching the Noble Qur'an chairman Mohammed al-Hadi indicated that the Society's activities come within the framework of the attention given by the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council and the Salvation Government By teaching the Holy Qur’an, especially in light of the circumstances that Yemen is going through in terms of aggression and false intellectual war by the enemies of the Islamic religion.
Al-Hadi stressed that by learning the Holy Qur’an, memorizing it, and working on its correct curriculum, the nation can rise on its feet to confront its enemies and thwart their plots and plans aimed at weakening and dominating it through its soft war in spreading misleading ideas and corrupting the souls of its children.
He noted the importance of returning to Allah, being guided by His Book and the recitation of the Holy Qur’an in order to thwart the plots and plans of the enemy, stressing the creation of societal awareness of understanding and awareness of these dangers, and this will only be achieved by the society’s attraction to the Holy Qur’an and its divine teachings.
At the end of the ceremony, the President of the Supreme Political Council and the Prime Minister honored the first six in the competition with shields, certificates of distinction and sums of money, and 24 students with certificates of appreciation.
