SANA'A July 31. 2023 (Saba)-His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today with the Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahhab Al-Durra, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq.
During the meeting, the navigational activity of Hodeida ports , the facilities provided to merchants and importers through them were discussed.
President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of working on developing Hodeida ports and providing it with all the means and needs to enable it to receive the largest number of ships, and to solve all the problems caused by the US-Saudi aggression.
He also stressed keenness to support the Red Sea Ports Corporation to enable it to carry out its tasks to the fullest.
President Al-Mashat praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Transport and the Ports Corporation during the last stage and what they are currently doing in developing Hodeida ports because of their role in serving the population density in the provinces of the Republic of Yemen and alleviating the burdens on citizens.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Muhammad Al-Mutahar, and the head of the Chamber of Commerce in the capital, Ali Al-Hadi.
