SANA'A August 20. 2023 (Saba)-His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today,Sunday, Vice President of the Supreme Political Council Sadiq Amin Abu Ras, Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, Head of the National Delegation Muhammad Abdul Salam, Deputy Head of Delegation Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, and Head of the Security and Intelligence Service Major General Abdul Hakim Al-Khaiwani .

During the meeting, which included a member of the national delegation, Abdulmalik Al-Ajri, the head of the Military Committee, Major General Abdullah Yahya Al-Razami, and Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi, the head of the national delegation gave a detailed briefing to the President on the negotiations during the last stage and the latest developments.

It was agreed to put the basic steps for any upcoming negotiations in a way that guarantees all the rights of the Yemeni people, and the implementation of their demands as a humanitarian and right priority, represented in the payment of the salaries of all state employees, the opening of Sana'a International Airport, the removal of all restrictions imposed on Hodeida ports , the lifting of the siege and an end to the aggression.

President Al-Mashat provided the national delegation with the directives and instructions required to achieve the demands of the Yemeni people to ensure the success of the negotiation process and the achievement of a just and comprehensive peace.
