Gaza - Saba:
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip launched on Monday an urgent humanitarian distress call to the international community, all countries of the world, and all international and UN organizations to save hundreds of thousands of displaced people in the Strip before it is too late.
According to the Palestine Online website, the government office said that over the past two days, nearly 10,000 tents were damaged as they were swept away by the sea waters after the waves spread due to the onset of winter and the onset of the low pressure system.
It pointed out that the number of displaced people is still flowing and increasing day after day in light of the Zionist enemy army imposing the crime of forced displacement, as the number of displaced people has reached two million displaced people in the governorates of the Strip, and these people have been displaced more than five consecutive times, and they are still under the oppression of the harsh conditions imposed by the enemy.
The office added "We have 543 shelters and displacement centers in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Zionist enemy committing the crime of forced displacement, which is a crime against humanity by forcing citizens to be forcibly displaced from their homes and safe residential neighborhoods."
The media office added "We are knocking on the tank wall and ringing the bell for the international community and all international, UN, humanitarian and legal organizations, that the Gaza Strip is facing a deep crisis and a real humanitarian disaster due to the onset of winter and the difficult climate conditions.
The office called on the international community and all international and UN organizations and relevant global institutions to break their silence and provide immediate and urgent relief to two million displaced persons."
It also called for pressure on the Zionist enemy by all means and methods in order to stop the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
