Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that foreign relations should be arranged in order to develop and organize the country's internal affairs. "Whether we like it or not, we will eventually face America in the regional , international arena and it is better to manage this arena ourselves."
In a meeting with a group of former foreign ministers, Pezeshkian added, as reported by Mehr News Agency: "We have made a lot of efforts during the short period of our government , solved many foreign policy issues and today we have good relations with our neighbors with whom we signed agreements when we met them."
On the status of relations with India, Pezeshkian said: "In addition to India, which is determined to activate the Chabahar port route, the Persian Gulf countries also want to develop relations, especially the activation of transportation routes with Iran."
He pointed out that Iran wants to develop its relations with all countries of the world, including European countries. He continued: "Negotiations with European countries are ongoing, but the Zionist entity, with its recent satanic actions, has sought to create an imbalance and complication in this regard.
He went on to say: In order to address internal issues, develop the country, in addition to arranging internal affairs, we have to arrange our international relations, resolve tensions , improve the field of interactions and relations with the region countries and the world.
Regarding America, Pezeshkian said: As for America, whether we like it or not, we will eventually face this country in the regional , international arena, it is better to manage this arena ourselves, and the government will strengthen the entire foreign policy within the framework of the overall strategy and methods of the regime.
