Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting held on Monday in Sana'a under the chairmanship of the Economy, Industry and Investment Minister, Engineer Moeen Al-Mahakri, discussed ways and prospects to develop and improve the granite, marble and stone saw industry as one of the important economic tributaries in Yemen, as part of the economic stimulus program and the plan to localize local industries.
The meeting, which comes within the framework of the economic stimulus program and the plan to localize local industries, which the ministry has started implementing through the localization of a number of industries, reviewed the issues and obstacles facing workers in this sector and ways to create new investment opportunities in Yemeni stones , granite, and open the prospects for exporting them because of their competitive advantage and high quality that is not available in many countries in the region.
At the meeting, the Economy, Industry and Investment Minister emphasized the ministry's keenness to provide all facilities, support , protect Yemeni products , industries, empower them, raise their capabilities and quality.
He praised the role of granite, marble and stone saw producers and their steadfastness. He praised the ministry's efforts to improve the investment environment and economic stimulation, according to new visions.
