Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced Wednesday the severing of trade and relations with the enemy and standing with Palestine until the end.
This came in press statements during his return from his visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the extraordinary joint summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League, and to Azerbaijan to attend the Summit of the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change "COB 29".
Erdogan touched on the genocide committed by Israel in both the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, and stressed the need to announce an urgent ceasefire and deliver humanitarian aid without interruption regularly to the needy.
He stressed that Ankara is working hard to keep pressure on Israel continues and take measures on the basis of international law.
He stated that Türkiye is the country that has expressed the strongest response in the world to the injustice of Israel, and has taken concrete steps, including stopping commercial transactions with it.
Erdogan stressed that the "People's Alliance" is firm in cutting ties with Israel, indicating that Türkiye will continue this during the next stage.
"We cut trade and relations with Israel, and we stand with Palestine until the end," he said in this regard.
He pointed out that Israel will become more aggressive as long as weapons and ammunition flow to it, indicating that the situation in Palestine and Lebanon is getting worse daily.
Erdogan explained that Türkiye is ranked first in the volume of humanitarian aid sent to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out that 52 countries and two international organizations have shown their support for the initiative launched by Türkiye at the United Nations to prevent Israeli providing weapons and ammunition.
"We recently delivered our message on this initiative to the President of the UN Security Council and the Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, and a decision was made during the Riyadh Summit calling on members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the League of Arab States to sign our mission," he said.
Erdogan affirmed that Turkey has been calling for standing against massacres and killing since the first day on which Israel began its massacres in Gaza, stressing that Israel's injustice to the Palestinians was one of the provisions of his agenda in all the countries that discussed with it.
"It is sufficient to be a person to stand in the face of injustice, it is not important to the language you speak, your belief, the color of your skin, your hair, or your eyes, but you have human values, and unfortunately we did not see this from the governments of some Western countries."
He continued, "It is very difficult for us to meet on a common ground with those whose hearts are not trembling in front of the screams of Palestinian children, and it will be an illusion to expect a position against injustice from those who do not protest when they see hospitals and ambulances being bombed, and those who see this are natural and try to cover up on this crime, under the guise of Israel, Israel has the right to defend itself. "
